Neil Short
Development Director - London
At Staycity Aparthotels, Neil focuses on sourcing lettings or purchasing land and buildings for conversion in London. Previously, he served as Development Director at easyHotel Plc, overseeing the growth of their estate in the UK and Europe. Prior to that, Neil held the position of Development Manager at Travelodge Hotels Limited, where he played a crucial role in establishing Travelodge as London’s largest hotel operator. The early part of Neil’s career was spent acquiring sites for JD Wetherspoon Plc across the UK. With a strong track record of strategic planning, negotiation, and team leadership, Neil has made significant contributions to the growth and success of these organizations. Outside of work Neil enjoys a wide variety of sports, including Triathlons, Cricket, football and golf.
