STAYCITY BACKGROUND
Recognising that standard hotel rooms did not meet the needs of growing numbers of travelers, the Staycity Group was founded in Dublin in 2004 to provide a cost-effective and guest friendly alternative to hotel accommodation in popular European city-centre locations. The Staycity Group has now become one of Europe's leading Aparthotel operators, with 6,000 apartments in the popular cities of Dublin, Edinburgh, Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, London, Paris, York, Marseille and Lyon with new properties scheduled to open in Liverpool, Disneyland Paris, Dublin, Venice, Manchester and Berlin. The company is on target to achieve its stated aim of 15,000 apartments by 2022.
